Inflow & Infiltration Line Replacement
The goal is to replace resident's private lines so that when it rains, the sewer system does not get overrun with infiltration from this water. Over time, sewer lines can become damaged from the ground shifting or tree roots growing into the old clay pipes. The city will work on the line from the resident's home connection or clean out, up to just before the tap angles to the connection to the sewer main. Residents are advised to add a clean out to their lines. ALL LABOR IS FREE; residents will only need to pay for materials necessary for replacement. When finished, the property will be leveled and seeded by the city.
To get signed up, residents will need to fill out necessary paperwork with the city.
